Here are a few pics from our trip to Branson. They didn't allow any pics inside the Titanic Museum, which I was bummed about. It was really amazing. Several things that were really neat: 1) you get a boarding pass when you go in which has the name of a passenger who was aboard the Titanic; at the end you find out whether they survived or not on the wall that lists alll passengers, 2) they have an "iceberg" so you can feel how cold it is, 3) they have a "well" of water which is the temperature of the water that night the Titanic sank, 4) they had quotes from individuals who were aboard some who'd survived, others who didn't. There were lots of belongings from people that they had taken out of the water when they were looking for survivors. The whole thing was a really cool experience.
Above: This is a shot @ Branson Landing. Very neat spot on the water. Has lots of shopping & restaurants. This area is really neat cause every hour it starts a "show" & song plays & fire comes out of the brown columns. Awesome at night!!
Above: From a scenic view stop on the south side of Branson. Upstream the Table Rock Lake Dam. Beautiful!
Everyone made fun of us for being young & going to Branson, the supposedly "older folks" vacation spot. But besides the traffic on the main street through town, where all the theatres are with shows, it's great. Very family friendly. We enjoyed it & will go back in the future, cause there were several things we didn't get to see this time around.
